Vanessa Schroeder is a San Diego native who began dancing at Coronado Community Center at age three. She has received professional training through Ballet Center Studios and San Diego Ballet School, learning multiple dance styles including ballet, jazz, tap, modern and contemporary. As a student, she has attended and been awarded scholarships to numerous summer ballet programs throughout the country. During her pre-professional career, Vanessa has had the opportunity to dance in multiple soloist and lead roles in performances such as Paquita, Swan Lake, the Nutcracker, and Romeo et Juliet. Vanessa is currently a Company member with San Diego Ballet. At thirteen years old, Vanessa was asked to assist in Intro and Pre Ballet Classes where she found her love for teaching. She has participated in multiple community outreach programs, bringing dance and teaching to those who cannot regularly access it. She began her professional teaching at eighteen years old and has been teaching with Dynasty Dance Co. since 2024 as a dance and camp instructor.
