Do I need a partner to join a dance class?No, you do not need a partner! We rotate partners in most classes, but you're also welcome to stay with the same partner if you prefer.

Do you offer kids' dance classes?Yes! We have kids' dance classes managed by Dynasty Dance. Registration is available online through their platform https://www.hisawyer.com/dynasty-dance-co/schedules

How much do classes cost?Most classes at the studio cost $20 for a drop-in. Some classes has different price and different packages. Please refer to Pricing for more information

What types of dance classes do you offer?We offer a variety of dance styles, including West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, Country 2-Step, Country Swing, and more. Check our Class Schedule for details.

Do you have parking?Yes! We have free parking available for our students and guests.

What should I wear?Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement. For footwear, clean dance shoes or non-marking, smooth-soled shoes are best. Avoid rubber soles or anything that could damage the floor.

Is your studio accessible?Yes! Our studio is accessible to all, with step-free entry and accommodations for dancers with mobility needs. If you have any specific accessibility questions, feel free to contact us.

Is your studio LGBTQ+ friendly?Absolutely! We are a queer-safe space where everyone is welcome. Our dance classes have gender-neutral roles—anyone can lead or follow, regardless of gender identity. We also have gender-neutral bathrooms.

Do you offer classes for beginners?Yes! We offer beginner-friendly classes in multiple styles. Look for "Beginner" or "Into" in the class descriptions.

How do I check in for a class?You can check in as a drop-in, with a monthly pass, using a Starlight Card, or with a student discount. You can check in at the front desk using our volunteer, front desk iPad, or on your phone app.

Do you offer any discounts?Yes! We offer student discounts and savings with monthly payments or punch cards.

What payment methods do you accept?We accept cash, credit/debit cards, Venmo, and online payments.

Can I rent space at the studio?Yes! We offer shared space rentals, private room rentals, and full-studio rentals. Prime-time bookings and studio classes take priority.

Do you host private events?Yes! You can rent our studio for private events like birthday parties, workshops, and corporate events. Contact us for availability.

Do you host social dance events?Yes! We host social dances multiple times a month, including West Coast Swing, Hustle, and Country Remix. Check our Events Calendar for upcoming socials.

Can I use powder or rosin on the floor?No, we do not allow any powder, rosin, or other substances on the floor, as they can cause damage and create safety hazards.

Do I need to register for classes in advance?For adult classes: No, You can drop in for any class without prior registration. Even though it's highly recommended to register in advance to save time when you get to the studio. For kids classes: Yes, The instructor will show up only if people registered. If you drop in, you take the chance that the instructor will be there if no one else registered.

Is there a dress code?There is no strict dress code, but attire should be respectful and appropriate for dancing. Please wear clean shoes that won’t damage the floor.
